Junior Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

IT Administrator
We are currently recruiting an IT Administrator on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organizations IT infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operations.
As an IT administrator handling level 1 and level 2 queries, your work responsibilities may include:
• Providing technical support: Responding to and resolving user queries, issues, and requests related to hardware, software, and network problems.
• Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing technical issues reported by users and determining appropriate solutions or workarounds.
• Incident management: Managing and resolving IT incidents within defined service level agreements (SLAs) to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• User account administration: Creating, modifying, and disabling user accounts, granting access privileges, and ensuring adherence to security policies.
• System monitoring: Monitoring the performance and availability of IT systems, applications, and networks to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Ticket management: Logging, tracking, and updating support tickets in a helpdesk or incident management system to ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution.

Construction Products Development Engineer
Job description
Developers, contractors, builders, manufacturers - all need help to get new and innovative building products and building systems on to the market place. To be marketable and sellable, building products and building systems need to be developed and certified as both "fit for purpose" and "suitable for use and conditions of use" as required by Building Regulations. The Evolusion Innovation Product Development Department provides that help.
The department has responsibility for developing multiple building systems and products. These include offsite construction/MMC panelised and modular building systems manufactured from light gauge steel, hot rolled steel, concrete, and timber.
We work proactively with Third-Party Certification Bodies on behalf of our clients to Project Manager their path through certification processes and as a result we develop an all-encompassing understanding of every building system we project manage. In this role we review the building system, critique building details and advise clients on changes to their building system as required.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Conduct technical assessments on innovative construction products on behalf of certifying bodies.

Provide expert knowledge and guidance on UK and Ireland Building Regulations to Evolusion clients.
-
Provide technical advice to clients on Light Gauge Steel, modular and other innovative building systems and their ability to meet legislative requirements.
-
Project Manage testing on behalf of Clients. This includes Fire Testing, Acoustic Testing, CWCT Testing, BS 8414 Testing, wall-tie testing.
-
Supervise the construction of test panels at the designated laboratories or the Clients factory.
-
Witness the individual test in the designated laboratory (Ireland, UK or France).
-
Review test reports to ensure they are in line with clients' expectations and requirements.
-
Develop innovative construction products and building systems for Evolusion clients to meet their brief.
-
Assist clients achieve certification of their products/building systems with the relevant certification bodies. BBA, BOPAS, SCI and NSAI

Assist in developing the Evolusion business in Ireland and overseas.

Contribute to the Evolusion brand and marketing strategy.

Develop Intellectual Property within Evolusion.

Plan and develop product development strategies for new and existing Clients.

Fire Safety/Structural Fire Engineer

The Evolusion Innovation Product Development Department provides that help.
The Product Development Department has responsibility for developing multiple different offsite building systems. These include both 2D panelised and 3D modular/volumetric building systems manufactured from concrete, light gauge steel, hot rolled steel and timber.
We work proactively with Third-Party Certification Bodies on behalf of our clients to Project Manage their path through the certification process and as a result we develop an all-encompassing understanding of every building system we project manage. In this role we
are responsible for being at the cutting edge of Construction Product Development. Evolusion currently project manage in excess of 50 structural fire tests per annum which include, wall, floor, column, cladding, cavity barrier, service penetrations, indicative, interactive and full-scale experimental testing.
A key component of this process is demonstrating compliance with all fire safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

Provide expert knowledge and guidance on UK and Ireland Building Regulations and relevant fire standards to Evolusion clients.

Support Evolusion Structural Engineering, Building Physics and Product Development teams.
-
Provide technical advice on fire related items to clients on Light Gauge Steel, modular and other innovative building systems, and their ability to meet legislative requirements.
-
Project Management of fire testing on behalf of Clients. This includes wall, floor, column, cladding, cavity barrier, service penetrations, indicative, interactive and full-scale experimental testing.

Supervise the construction of the test panels and witnessing tests at the designated laboratories (Ireland, UK or France) or the client's factory.

Review test reports to ensure they are in line with client's expectations and requirements.

Produce test drawing packages required for each respective test.

Review and advise on Fire Test Details.

Business development in Ireland and overseas of all parts of the Evolusion business.

Heat transfer modelling.

Provide input for thermomechanical modelling.

Develop Intellectual Property within Evolusion.
Minimum requirements:

An honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline – Structural/Fire Engineering would be advantageous.

Relevant demonstrable experience in Fire Safety/Structural Fire Engineering.

Good knowledge and understanding of Technical Guidance Document B, Approved Document B and Standards and Codes of Practice.

Ability to work with and build relationships with clients.
-
Competent project management skills and reporting.
-
Familiarity with Modern Methods of Construction/Offsite Construction Technologies would be advantageous.

Commercially astute re project budgeting and time management
