We have considerable experience in undertaking research and development projects on walls, wall claddings, and floors of residential panellised and modular buildings, designing and testing these construction elements in a variety of configurations to meet the UK and Irish Building Regulations. We have project managed structural load-bearing fire tests, fire resistance tests, and reaction to fire tests; impact tests; weather tightness tests and more.

Our service can include an R&D phase during which the optimum specifications of wall and floor build-ups can be detailed , value engineered and, critically, fire safety engineered in such a way that during the laboratory fire tests the elements have minimal risk of failing before their target performance is achieved.
